•  We needed a consistent benchmark by which to judge the range of these bikes,

   so it is flat surface, 70 degree F, 425 lb bike with a 150 lb rider.

   The bike is half the width or an ordinary motorcycle for a very small wind profile.


•  Hills, changes in temperature, acceleration, etc will effect these ranges.

   Under extreme conditions the ranges may even be half of what is stated.
